A couple of weeks ago, the nice folks over at Zalando sent me a voucher to pick a few things from their site to review. Originally, I was deciding between a few different pairs of Pretty Ballerinas, such as these and these, but I eventually settled on this French Connection toggle coat instead. It's a great three season coat--perfect for autumn, winter and early spring (and who are we kidding, I'll probably wearing this at some point during the summer as well, this is Scotland, after all!) Well, the coat arrived and just as I became super excited to begin parading around in it throughout London, the heat wave started.
But here I am, settled in Scotland and this coat has become one of my favorite go-to pieces. I don't know if you guys know this, but I used to be a bit famous around here for practically living in those North Face puffy coats during the winter. Some people likened them to wearing a duvet and my friend Holly lovingly told me that I looked a bit like a caterpillar. Either way, I'm sure that most people are quite happy that I have retired that coat for my new collection of winter coats, such as this one.
Zalando's selection is pretty incredible. They have pretty much everything you can imagine there. The most difficult aspect of my shopping experience, was picking which item that I wanted. I kept changing my mind! Doesn't hurt that they offer free shipping too.
Today I'm also wearing a Marni tunic with black opaque tights and Topshop boots. You can see a better picture of that over at my Facebook page. Hope that you all had a great weekend!
