I am not a lipstick girl, but I am convinced that Laura Mercier's "Bare Lips" was made for girls like me. It is one shade in a collection of sheer lip colours that have the perfect balance between gloss and color. I'm a little late to hop on the bandwagon - it was a Life & Style Award Winner for Best Lipstick back in 2009, but I'm happy that I finally found it, nevertheless!
Do you guys have any favorite lipsticks to recommend?

It looks gorgeous on you! I use primarily Estee Lauder doublewear lipstick which I like, though it still doesn't have the staying power I'd ideally like.

I know you asked this ages ago... but definitely try estee lauder lipsticks, many of them are so subtle and feel amazingly soft.
And also, the chubby sticks from clinique and the Eclat Minute Embelliseur Lèvres from Clarins :)
