I know that sometimes you have to do things that you don't like in life, but I really hate ironing. I usually manage to avoid it (Brooks Brother wrinkle-free shirts, you are my friend), but ocassionally it is necessary. Nothing is worse than a rumpled trench coat, which this one somewhat was when I took the pictures. (Fashion bloggers: if you ever think to yourself "I could just photograph this now and airbrush a few of the wrinkles out later," it's not a good idea. You're going to regret that. Trust me.) Ironing a trench is kind of a pain - and from now on, I think I might leave it to the professionals - but it is, of course, well- worth it in the end.
But enough about ironing. Let's change the subject, shall we? This particular trench is by Banana Republic. It was a birthday gift from my mom a couple of years ago. There are different ways to tie it, but I always knot the belt in the back.
